Houston’s Honeyland Pageant went down November 11 & 12 in Crown Pageant Park and it was a heaping serving to of Black excellence within the meals, drinks, music, and artwork industries.
City One was proud to be an Official Media Associate and was on the bottom to doc the festivities that included Texas rap legend Bun B available to serve up his Trill Burgers to attendees.
“All people here’s a Black vendor, on some stage. It’s focused for our demographic, but it surely’s by our demographic,” stated Bun B of the competition.
Among the acts who carried out included Coco Jones, Tobe Nwigwe, Summer time Walker, Miguel and Chlöe Bailey. City One spoke to some Hip-Hop legends together with Scarface, Slim Thug and Z-Ro, and Paul Properly, apart from the aforementioned Bun B.
