New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell was charged with ethics violations relating to her use of first-class seats on flights paid by town.
The Louisiana Board of Ethics on Oct. 31 accused Cantrell of upgrading to first-class on city-funded flight tickets, which violates state legislation and metropolis journey coverage.
In line with New Orleans metropolis coverage, authorities workers are required to buy the bottom airfare attainable or reimburse town for lodging thought of deluxe. The costs aren’t legal.
