Capitol Police mentioned they’re working to “hold again” 150 people who find themselves “illegally and violently” protesting outdoors of the Democratic Nationwide Committee in Washington, D.C.
They mentioned they had been making arrests however did not say what number of. It seems, based mostly on social media postings, that protesters are calling for a ceasefire within the Center East.
“Proper now our officers are working to maintain again roughly 150 people who find themselves illegally and violently protesting within the space of Canal Road and Ivy Road, SE. Officers are making arrests. All Members have been evacuated from the realm. Please steer clear of the realm,” Capitol Police mentioned in an announcement.
