Two males have been charged after they allegedly tried to dig up a grave at a cemetery in Missouri, the St. Louis County Prosecutors Workplace confirmed this week. 

Jimmie V. Allen and Zebulun Nash, each 73, had been caught in August shoveling dust out of a gravesite at Washinton Park Cemetery in Berkeley, Missouri, KSDK-TV reported. 

Nash reportedly instructed officers he was planning to relocate his grandmother’s physique and Allen was serving to him.

Missouri regulation requires a state order to exhume a physique and the lads had been each charged Wednesday with trying to destroy or deface cemetery property, in accordance with KSDK.

Witness Kiesha Wayne instructed the station that one of many males “stated that they paid anyone to dig up the physique, however they acquired ripped off, so that they took it upon themselves to dig up the physique. I do really feel sorry for the person whose beloved one is or was buried there.”
